Wordless Wednesday – Great Aunt Joy’s Youngest Friends …

There’s a few photos of this lovely little girl in Great Aunt Joy’s albums. From what I can find, I think she was born Joyce J Wood in Dorset in the first quarter of 1937. I’ve found a possible marriage for her, to James A Wescott in the third quarter of 1955.

Derek (6) and Margaret (4)
As yet, unidentified

Most likely Moira and Sylvia Holland. I haven’t been able to find their births in Dorset with any certainty. There’s a Sylvia A born in 1944, but no Moira until 1958 which doesn’t fit at all.

Alan Rench was born in Dorset in the fourth quarter of 1940, the son of Basil Rench and Patricia Slade. I believe he married Helen M Eltham in 1964.

Born in Nottingham in the second quarter of 1937 to parents Alfred Hardstaff and Edna Musgrove. I’ve found a possible marriage for her in Leeds to Robert Bragg in 1957.

  1. Amazing photo memories …. for me too. Did we all look like Derek and Margaret in those days, same clothes, same hair ….. I know I did just 10 years later!
